Frequently Asked Questions

Last updated: 30 October 2026

Quick answers to the most common questions. For the full walkthrough see How to Play & House Rules; for the legal details see our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

Credits inside KaBingo are for fun only - they have no cash value and cannot be bought or cashed out. Any real prize (for example GCash) is arranged and given by the host outside the app.

What is KaBingo?

A friendly 75-ball bingo game for family and friends, wherever they are. Join a room on your phone or computer, mark your cards as numbers are called, and tap BINGO when you complete the pattern.

Are the credits real money?

No. Credits are just for playing inside the app. They have no cash value, cannot be bought, and cannot be cashed out. KaBingo is a social game, not a gambling service.

How do I get credits?

An admin grants them - there is no self top-up. New players get a small welcome amount. If you run low, tap Request credits in your Wallet and an admin can grant more.

What is "Daily Bingo"?

Daily Bingo is a set of automatic rooms that open and run on their own several times a day - no host needed. Anyone can join. Each game has a small, random buy-in per card (sometimes free) and starts with a guaranteed minimum prize pot that grows as more players buy cards; the winner takes the whole pot. The pot amount is shown on the room card and in the lobby, so you can see what a win is worth before you buy. It is a relaxed way to pass the time and build up your credits.

Why should I save up credits?

The credits you win in Daily Bingo stay in your Wallet. We are planning special games in the future where those saved credits let you join bigger rounds and play for prizes. So the more you play now, the more ready you will be later.

How often do the Daily Bingo games run, and how do I join?

Every couple of hours through the day (Philippine time). Look for the rooms marked DAILY on the dashboard - live games are at the top, with upcoming ones listed by start time. Open one, buy a card (or grab a free one), and the game starts and calls the numbers by itself.

How do I win?

When your card completes the round's pattern, the BINGO! button lights up - you must tap it to claim. The first valid BINGO pauses the caller for a 5-second window so others can also tap; everyone who taps a completing card shares the credit pot. If you do not tap, you do not win, even if your card is complete.

What if more than one person wins the same round?

The credit pot is split equally among everyone who tapped a completing card. If a single real prize is on the line, the tied winners vote how to settle it - Split, Spin the wheel, or Highest number - and everyone sees the result.

There is no sound / I cannot hear the caller. Why?

You are probably opening KaBingo inside another app's browser (like the one inside Facebook or Messenger), which often blocks sound. Tap the "..." menu and choose Open in browser to open it in Chrome or Safari. Turn your volume up, and on iPhone turn off the silent switch.

How do I join a private room?

Private rooms show a lock. Tapping one asks for the invite code from the host, or you can open the host's invite link and it joins you automatically. If you have already joined, you get back in without the code.

Can I play on my phone?

Yes. KaBingo works in any modern browser, and there is an Android app too. Your account and credits are the same wherever you sign in.

Is my information private?

Other players see only your display name, username, and avatar. Your email and phone number are never shown to other players.

Can others tell when I am online?

Yes - a small green dot and an "active a few minutes ago" note show your online status next to your name in a room's player list and on the dashboard, so family can see who is around to play. It only reflects whether the app is open; it never shares your location or anything else.

What happens if the host leaves a live game?

For a hosted game, it pauses so no one misses a ball, and continues when the host returns. Daily Bingo games are run by the server, so they keep going on their own.

How do I become a host?

Tap Want to host? Request access on the dashboard. An admin reviews it. Approved hosts can create their own rooms, set the cards, patterns, rounds, and prizes, and share private rooms with an invite link.

Can a host switch the caller or end a round during a game?

Yes. On the live screen the host can switch between Auto and Manual (the host presses a button whenever the next ball should be drawn). If someone shouts BINGO on a card that is not in the app, such as a paper card, the host can press End round (or End game on the last round). Any credit pot of that round goes back to the players who paid for it, and the next round waits for the host to start it.

How do I see the whole board and still check my card?

Tap Full screen (at the top of the game screen, or on the number board or your cards). You get the caller and the whole number board (each letter in its own colour). Swipe left to see your cards and the chat, swipe right to go back, and tap Exit when you are done. The BINGO button stays at the bottom, so you can claim from either view.

Can my card or the board stay on screen while I scroll to the chat?

Yes. A player's cards, and the host's number board, float under the top bar as you scroll down. Tap Pin or Unpin to turn it off or on (on a short screen it starts unpinned).

Can the host change how many cards one player gets?

Yes. In Players in this room the host searches for the player and taps Edit. In a free room (Event Pass or a free game) a higher number gives the player the cards right away, and a lower number takes the newest cards away. In a room with a card price a higher number lets the player buy more with credits, and a lower number takes cards away and refunds them, before the game starts. The player's phone updates at once. It works in the lobby and before a round starts drawing. In a free room, Cards for everyone sets one number for every player at once.

How does the Manual caller work?

In Manual the host decides when each ball is drawn. The host presses the big Draw next ball button above the number board, the app picks a ball that has not been called yet, and every player sees it and hears it. The host can also tap a number on the board instead, for example one drawn from a real ball cage. In Auto the game draws a ball every few seconds by itself. Players never see the button.

What if the host taps the wrong number?

A host who calls the numbers by hand taps that number again on the board, and a question asks if it should be taken back. It works for any number already called, the first one included. Every player sees a red "Correction" note (for example "not B 1") and hears it, and the cards and the board go back to how they were. It cannot be used while a BINGO is being confirmed or after a player has claimed the round.

Can an Event Pass use the manual caller instead of the automatic one?

Yes. The room of a new Event Pass starts on Manual, so the organizer decides when each ball is drawn by pressing Draw next ball. In Edit room, before the game starts, the organizer can choose Auto (a ball every few seconds) or Manual (you press Draw next ball), and during a game the Caller button switches it.

Can a guest at an event have more than one card?

Yes. The organizer decides. In Players in this room the organizer can give one guest more cards with Edit, or tap Cards for everyone to set the same number for all guests. Guests do not buy anything and the cards appear on their phones right away. Until the round starts a guest can tap Change card to get new numbers on a card.

Do the cards stay the same in the next round of an event?

No. In a new Event Pass every round starts with new cards, the same number each guest had in the round before. While the next round waits to start the organizer can change the number for one guest or for everyone, and that number becomes the new default. Event rooms made before 30 October 2026 keep their cards for every round.

What is an Event Pass?

An Event Pass lets you run bingo at your own birthday, party or company event. You get one private room named after your event, and your guests scan a QR code, type their name, and play. They do not need an account or an app.

Do my guests need to sign up or log in?

No. A guest scans the QR code, types a name, and plays. Every guest gets one free card as they come in. The guest's session lives on their own device, so if they leave the event or clear their browser data, their cards are lost and they scan the QR code again.

How do I get an Event Pass?

On the sign-in screen, tap Hosting a party or event? Get an Event Pass. Pick the size that fits your number of guests (the price is shown), pay once by GCash to the account shown, then enter the reference number and paste or attach your payment screenshot. We check the payment and approve it. A pass works only after it is approved. When you send the request you get an event page link: save it, it is the only way back to your event, and we cannot recover it automatically.

How much does an Event Pass cost, and can I get a refund?

It is a one-time fee per event, and it depends on how many guests you expect. The rates are shown on the request form before you send it. The fee is for using the service; it is not credits and not a prize. Before your request is approved you may ask us to withdraw it and return your payment. Once a pass is approved, the fee is not refundable.

When does the event QR code work?

From 6 hours before your event starts until midnight (Philippine time) of the event day. You can change your event's date and time from your event page: before the day of the event you can move it to any time within the next year, and on the day itself only within the same day. You can also make a new QR code at any time, and the old one stops working.

Can we play more than one game at an event?

Yes. Your event has one room. Use Edit room to set the rounds, patterns and prizes. On the day of your event you can also add more rounds to the same room after a game ends.

Who gives the prizes at an event, and can the organizer play too?

The organizer gives any prize, outside the app. Cards are free for everyone. The organizer is the caller by default; to play as well, switch on I will also play in Edit room and you get a free card too.
